As of March 30th, AthenaScope highlights are no longer working and the product is shutting down on April 5th, 2022.

I know that a lot of StreamKit users were big AthenaScope fans so I’m hopeful that the team is able to salvage something out of the great work they did!

In the meantime though, streamers will need an alternative for creating and posting amazing clips to TikTok, Youtube Shorts, and Instagram.

Here are a few that would make a great addition to any streamer’s toolset.

Make Echoes

Make Echoes is a project of another solo developer (just like StreamKit!) and is mainly for posting Stream content to Youtube.

It runs based on stream commands, so it requires some manual work from your mods, but overall it’s much easier than creating recaps yourself for Youtube.

It’s on the expensive side, running $30/month, but it has good reviews!

Sizzle.gg

Sizzle is a relative new comer to the space. Unfortunately it’s still in closed beta, but word is that the AthenaScope shut down has sped up their tiemline.

They have clipping AI for some of the most streamed games, and it’s improved a lot over the last year! If you are able to get into their beta you can give it a try!

Unfortunately, AthenaScope really was one of a kind, but hopefully one or more of these tools will help you make your clips shine and boost your stream’s growth!
